Welcome to KASKI MODERNIZED ACADEMY (Secondary School)
Kaski Modernized Academy is an academically selective co-educational secondary boarding school located at Chauthe B.P. Marg, Pokhara-14, Nepal. It covers area of 20 ropanies of its own and 5 huge attractive buildings. it provides quality education to around 200 students from Nursery to Grade 12. KMA prides itself on the quality of its excellent academic programs, along with co-curricular activities covering a wide range of genres.
Tracing back to its history, KMA was established in 2055 B.S. ar Shiva Chowk, Pokhara-10, with 90 students and 9 teaching staff with the sacred motto “Learn through reality, attend in humanity”. It was established by Mr. Ram Bahadur Mochi, the erstwhile Lecturer in English, P.N. Campus, Pokhara. Since its inception, Mr. Ram Bahadur Mochi has been the Principal and sole founder of KMA.

Dear parents, students and well wishers, It is my pleasure to announce that ‘Kaski Modernized Academy’ an esteemed and well known academic institution in Pokhara, has decided to provide international levelled all round facilities to its students in local levelled fee structures. KMA, established in 2055 B.S. in Shiva Chowk, Pokhara-10 with 90 students and 9 teachers in my Principalship, is at present, running its excellent academic performance with full fledged facilities in its own land of 20 ropanies and 5 huge but attractive blocks at Chauthe, BP Marga, Pokhara-14.The sole aim of school is to provide quality education
with human value that can make a man complete. The dedicated, highly qualified and trained teachers’ team, modern practical ways of teaching, Life oriented, interactive method, use of all the scientific teaching tools and opportunities for participating in all types of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, really support the school to fulfill its motto and to produce skilled
students or human resources.The phenomenal growth owes itself to the tireless efforts of the management, teaching staff, students, guardians and well wishers with the missionary zeal. Quality education is our commitment. We nurture the dignity and discipline among students and guardians community as well.For us, education doesn’t mean only preparation for the examination but a great deal of emphasis is given to holistic development of students through active participation on workshops, seminars, excursions and various activities. Message from the Dean
Dear Parents, Students, and Wellwishers,
The present era is full of complexities, dynamism and, of course, inexhaustible opportunities. Everyday there are new innovations which are substituted by newer ones. New challenges and opportunities do exist every second day. Everybody has easy access to global knowledge due to the advancement of Information Technology. We at KMA impart pragmatic education through reality based teaching-learning methodology which enables the learners to better understand the life and the world and find a purpose of life. We relate classroom learning to practical life. We apply interactive method so that every student can participate in the learning process and realize his / her aptitude amenable to learning. Students are cared with good culture and discipline. The fact that we nurture every talent of students has been proven by the hitherto achievements of KMA in various curricular, co-curricular and Extra-curricular activities. We discourage the mere learning of facts, rather focus on thinking as Albert Einstein states, “Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.” We encourage the students to be creative thinker, critical thinker and life long learner with discerning minds. Our endeavour is an amalgam of curricular and Co-curricular activities. I am thankful to the guardians for giving us opportunity to educate your children.

School Code of Conduct
Our prime concern is discipline. All the students, including teaching and non-teaching staff must maintain a high degree of discipline inside and outside the school premises. Hence, everybody who is concerned to KMA is to follow the code of conduct as mentioned below:
- All the students must enter the school in proper school uniform in time.
- At least 80% attendance is a must to be qualified for the exam.
- Our school runs fully for six days in a week but the last Friday of a month remains closed.
- Students are not allowed to go out of the school premises within school hours. Concerned parents and registered guardians only can meet them after taking permission of the Principal.
- A student must use English as communication medium (except Nepali periods) during the school hours.
- Bringing prohibited gadgets and other things like mobile, money, jewellery etc is strictly banned.
- One is strictly forbidden to get involved in unethical activities, cluster or a penalization that causes disturbance in peaceful educational environment and hampers the prestige of the school.
- Misconduct or violation of the rules and discipline during the class and exam will lead to expulsion from the school. Warning with proper punishment for the first serious mistake, Information to the gurdians for the second and expulsion for the third serious mistake.
- If needed, students should be ready for extra classes or staying in hostel.
- Home report of the students and sudden changes found in behaviour are to be conveyed to the school by every guardian on time.
- Every guardian must be present to receive the terminal exam report along with the children and to share the information briefly with the concerned subject teachers.
- If any guardians and students have any complain or suggestion regarding all round aspect of school system, they can meet the Principal or write and drop in the suggestion box without any hesitation.
- Our school provides essential medicines to normal health problem and first-aid as well as first phases treatment in hospital in any type of injury in games and sport at school.
